Search Help
Quick Search
Use the Quick search directly from anywhere on the site. Quick search allows you to select relevant jobs by keyword, salary band and location. Typical examples of keywords are ‘java’, ‘project manager’, ‘oracle’, ‘CIO’, ‘technology’.
Simply enter your keyword(s) in the Keyword field, then select a Salary band and Location and press the Search button. If you do not wish to specify a salary range, select ‘Any’; if you do not wish to specify a location, select ‘All locations’.
Your results will be returned in date order with the most recent vacancies at the top.
Advanced search
Click on the Advanced Search link under the Jobs menu to access the advanced search screen.
Keywords
There are four options for entering your keywords and you can use any combination of these.
All of the words: enter keywords here to search on jobs containing all words entered.
Exact phrase: enter keywords here to search as a phrase.
At least one of the words: enter keywords here to search on jobs containing at least one of the words you have entered.
Without the words: enter keywords here to search on jobs that do not contain the words you have entered.
Example
To search for all words containing the keyword ‘developer’ which do not contain the word ‘c#’, enter ‘developer’ in the all of the words field and ‘c#’ in the without the words field.
Additional select options
You can additionally select from a series of drop-down menu items to further refine your search:
Job location
Select a specific location, or select All locations if you wish to search on all locations.
Sector
Select a specific industry sector, or select All sectors if you wish to search on all available sectors.
Salary range
Select a specific salary bracket, or select All to search across all salary bands.
Perm/temp/contract
Select from permanent, temporary or contract positions, or select All to search across all types of position.
Date posted
Select from jobs posted in the Previous 24 hours, the last week, the last month or jobs posted on All dates.
Search by company
Click on the Jobs by company link from the Jobs menu if you wish to browse all jobs from a specific company or recruitment consultant.
You will see a listing of all the companies who advertise job vacancies on the website.
Click on the View jobs link to the right of the entry for the company that you are interested in. You will be presented with a listing of that company’s current job vacancies in date order, with the most recent jobs at the top of the listing.
