Description:

A high profile Insurance Organisation is looking for a Head Office Underwriter/Pricing Manager to play a significant part in the overall development of the Household portfolio incorporating HNW client products. Along with the development of the high net worth account you will play a significant part in streamlining the automated underwriting process to reduce the overall necessity of manual underwriting through online and partnership services. In this capacity you will be the senior member of the team and an essential partner to the divisional manager being recognised for the growth in terms of profit and market share of the portfolio. To be successful you must have a strong knowledge of the product lifecycle from wordings, pricing, packaging, and an ability to communicate to a variety of internal and external stakeholders including IT and legal departments, for example. Although the ideal person will have a strong background in the product development and pricing for home insurance, this is not essential so would welcome applications from individuals working as a portfolio underwriter within commercial, travel or motor insurance.
