Description:
Leading Lloyd’s syndicate has a requirement for a Processing Technician to join their Underwriting Business Support Department. The key purpose of the role is to provide operational, administrative and analytical support to Underwriters and Coverholders, ensuring a smooth and efficient service is provided at all times, as well as handling the transaction of business between overseas offices and the syndicate and between the syndicate and Xchanging. Principal duties and responsibilities include: To provide Underwriter and Coverholder support; To provide training to local office Coverholders; To establish and maintain customer relations; Data entry for premiums and claims in IRIS (underwriting system); Processing in Document Management System (scanning); Problem solving and investigation of complex issues; Initiate, manage and monitor projects; Credit Control; Quality Control; Recording and collation of data for reporting purposes. The successful candidate will be professional, confident and approachable, numerically confident with spreadsheet experience and an excellent communicator, as the role involves working with other teams both internally and externally. Previous relevant insurance experience is desired and progress towards ACII would be preferred.
