Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the market leading Financial Services organisations which is undertaking a significant investment to restructure its Foreign General Insurance entities and to implement SII requirements as per the Directive which comes in to force in 2012. Focusing on the international general insurance, the purpose of the role is to provide Solvency II Enterprise Risk Management subject matter expertise in order to assist with the completion of, design and implementation of the organisation's Solvency II solution. You will be required to work with a wide variety of senior stakeholders throughout the program which covers UK/Ireland and Continental Europe Regions. Successful candidates will posses a good level of knowledge of SII directive and have expertise in financial, quality, risk, issue and knowledge management. Relevant ERM General Insurance experience as well as excellent communication skills are essential. Candidates with experience of interpreting regulatory directive (e.g. Basel II, MIFD, SOX) and experience of working within a Project Management environment will hold a distinct advantage.
