Our client has an opening for an individual with some General Insurance Industry experience and a strong mathematical bias to enter a role which will involve providing data manipulation and preparation / modeling / actuarial and forecasting support to their Actuarial team. In addition to general insurance experience you will also ideally be familiar with VBA for MS Excel or VB.NET and have experience of stochastic modeling using @RISK software. Client interaction may become an important part of the role and as a result, the individual should be able to communicate at all levels, and will be dealing with colleagues at all levels within the firm, as well as frequently finding him/herself meeting with clients to assess their needs and/or offer a consultancy service. The individual will work closely with the Forecasting team on a range of hands-on projects and also alongside other members of the organisation. The position may sometimes offer the possibility of international travel.
