Description:

A new role has been created working within the Risk Management and Analytics team within this leading Insurance and Reinsurance company. You will primarily be involved in the delivery of the Group's Risk Management Strategy and annual Sarbanes Oxley programme of internal control of financial reporting, working closely at all levels within the business to enhance operational risk and internal control capabilities. Main duties include supporting the Manager to further enhance operational risk capabilities, including facilitating the design, monitoring and operation of key risks and controls, risk limits throughout the different entities and Group. You will also be responsible for reviewing existing risks and controls across the business on a regular basis with owners to ensure that they remain relevant to the risks and objectives of the entities and group. Successful candidates will have previous insurance industry experience, ideally within a Risk or Internal Audit team of an insurance company or 'Big 4' organisation and possess a sound understanding of business processes as they apply to a dynamic and growing business. A strong understanding of Sarbanes Oxley requirements having previously managed or been significantly involved in its day-to-day operation is essential. Candidates will also have a strong understanding of current and developing operational risk issues and will be able to contribute to the continued enhancement of this, at all levels of the business.
