A very rare opportunity to join one of the Insurance Industry's leading ratings and information agencies as a Senior Financial Analyst. Based within the 'Non-Life' team you will be responsible for producing high quality research of market events and trends, conduct comparative analysis as well as having overall analytical responsibility for your own portfolio. You will also contribute to special market reports and meet with clients where required. Successful applicants will be educated to at least degree level, possess good knowledge of current insurance market issues through exposures to an insurance-related environment such as an insurance company, insurance broker, consulting company, actuarial or accountancy firm. You will have a good understanding of the mechanics of insurance companies and how key business functions operate. As this role has a client-facing aspect, it is important that you have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to professionally represent the company to clients. Strong communication skills, including report writing, are essential. Knowledge of a European language is advantageous but not essential.
