Description:

An excellent opportunity to join this leading credit rating organisation serving the banking and insurance sector. As Senior Ratings Development Analyst, you will be responsible for providing research and analytical support in order to further the development of new ratings in emerging markets, alternative / captive markets and the London market. You will also provide support in all activities relating to ratings development and build relationships with 3rd party research teams (e.g. brokers, consultants and insurers including Lloyd's). This role will effectively act as a sweeper to various Managers located in UK and Asia Pacific during their absence and the individual will have plenty of client contact and be responsible for putting together information packages for clients. Successful applicants will have a strong and demonstrable interest in international insurance issues and be both strategically and commercially minded. You will also have the ability to build external relationships (including remotely with international contacts) as well as strong analytical and research skills. Previous experience gained within an international insurance / reinsurance environment is highly desirable.
