Description:

Reporting directly to the UK Chief Risk Officer, you will be responsible for heading up the risk management of insurance risk for this leading International insurance and reinsurance company. You will be responsible for developing and improving the risk management processes around insurance risk covering all areas of the group's underwriting and reserves. You will focus on producing challenging and valuable risk assessment processes for senior underwriting heads including pricing risk; pricing adequacy; pricing policy and approach, including areas of pricing weakness and uncertainty; underwriting risk MI v plan; reserving trends; systemic risk and external factors. You will also be responsible for implementing changes from Solvency II into business as usual. Successful applicants will have extensive Casualty Underwriting experience with previous Risk Management experience an advantage.
