Our client a leading Global Insurance Brokerage is seeking a Client Director to join their Commercial Professions team based in the City. The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for building a relationship with, providing a service to, and managing the expectations of a portfolio of clients on a daily basis. The business you will be dealing with will be cross classed including Property, Casualty and Motor and it will be predominately UK based and placed in both Lloyds and Company markets. Key responsibilities of the role will include; Account Management, Renewal, Retention and Growth of existing Accounts, New Business Development, Coverage Design, Coverage Advice, Preparing Documentation, Programme Design, Providing Market Advice, Negotiating with Underwriters, Liaising and Attending Meetings with Clients/Underwriters and working closely with Internal Placing Brokers. Suitable candidates will need to hold several years of experience within a commercial broking environment encompassing the duties stated above and will have achieved or be progressing towards the ACII qualifications.
