Description:

Our client a Regional Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Household Underwriter to join their branch in Hampshire. The main purpose of the role will be to work closely with the sales department to develop profitable personal lines business through technical assessment of schemes and to develop new and existing products as required. The main responsibilities will include; Evaluating new schemes, key accounts, affinity and product propositions, to monitor and control existing schemes, analysing team and scheme performance, to undertake regular visits to brokers, to assist with the development of pricing and underwriting and to oversee, train and mentor new and junior members of staff. The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following; several years experience within a Head Office Household Underwriting environment, and hold experience of product pricing and development and accessing and developing new opportunities as well as being ACII qualified or progressing towards this.
