Description:

A strong player within the Financaial Services market is looking to add to their highly reputable Insurance division based in their Ireland office in Dublin. The position holder is primarily responsible for liaison between the technical underwriting team and the original client or new business lead. A secondary role is the support and management of the products approval process including obtaining full signature and approval of the proposal and liaison with regional and Insurance Head Office IHO. You will support the technical underwriting team to review new and renewal business and deliver underwriting results within the framework established by the corporation. In addition you will be required to assist the Product Development forum and provide meaningful and informed recommendations to senior management and the company’s Reinsurance committees. The successful individual will have significant general insurance industry experience, with proven track record of successful relationship management. Excellent interpersonal/communication skills with proven negotiation and influencing skills is essential with a proven record in building working relationships with a wide range of internal and external clients. You must have strong organisational and time management skills together with ability to work on own initiative couple with good analytical skills.
