Description:

Our client a leading insurance company are seeking a Property Underwriter to become a part of the Local Authority team based in London. The main purpose of this role will be to successfully underwrite new and existing accounts and contribute to the profitable development of the Local Authority portfolio and to ensure all corporate service standards are maintained to both intermediaries and internal colleagues. In addition you will also be responsible for training and mentoring new and junior members off staff, attending clients meetings and reviewing policy wordings. The ideal candidate for this role will have proficient knowledge of Property Underwriting principles and practice and Local Authority experience is preferable and you will hold or be working towards industry qualifications.
