Description:

A new role has arisen within the Lloyds market for a risk focused underwriting specialist. This is the ideal next step for someone who has been working within underwriting who is looking for a more analytical and governing role. The role focuses around the control and mitigation of underwriting risk where you will be involved in monitoring underwriting exposures, rating methodologies, risk assessment and loss exposures. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of risk/product knowledge, legal & regulatory principles, information analysis & reporting and have a strong current focus on Pricing and ICA concepts. You must have several years experience in the Lloyds market with specific attention in the marine/energy areas. A strong educational background is desirable as well as key interpersonal skills such as having a strong presence, be able to adapt and work in a pressured environment as well as being able to communicate at board level.
