To find more details about an employer or their current vacancies, click on the Employers link under the Jobs menu.

You will see a listing of all the direct employers registered with this website.

Next to each employers's listing, you will see two further links:
View profile - click here to view the full profile we hold for that company
View jobs - click here to view the current listing of vacancies for that company.

Helpdesk

Log in

Once you have registered your details on insurancedayjobs.com you can log in to the website in the top left-hand side of the homepage. Once logged in you will not have to complete in your details again to access any of our services.

To access your My profile page, click on the My profile link in the Jobs menu.

Use the My profile page to set or update any of your personal details or preferences:

Recruitment consultants

To find more details about a recruitment consultant or their clients’ current vacancies, click on the Recruitment consultants link under the Jobs menu.

You will see a listing of all the recruitment consultants registered with this website.

Next to each recruitment consultant's listing, you will see two further links:
View profile - click here to view the full profile we hold for that company
View jobs - click here to view the current listing of vacancies for that company.

Registration

Register with insurancedayjobs.com to:

• Apply for jobs
• Save your favourite default searches
• Sign-up for the daily email alert.

To register as a user of this website, please click on the Register link in the Register / Log-in pane.

You will be prompted to complete a small number of mandatory fields in order to complete your registration

Search

Quick Search

Use the Quick search directly from anywhere on the site. Quick search allows you to select relevant jobs by keyword, salary band and location.

Simply enter your keyword(s) in the Keyword field, then select a Salary band and Location and press the Search button. If you do not wish to specify a salary range, select ‘Any’; if you do not wish to specify a location, select ‘All locations’.

Your results will be returned in date order with the most recent vacancies at the top.

Advanced search

Click on the Advanced Search link under the Jobs menu to access the advanced search screen.

Keywords

There are four options for entering your keywords and you can use any combination of these.

All of the words: enter keywords here to search on jobs containing all words entered.
Exact phrase: enter keywords here to search as a phrase.
At least one of the words: enter keywords here to search on jobs containing at least one of the words you have entered.
Without the words: enter keywords here to search on jobs that do not contain the words you have entered.

Example

To search for all words containing the keyword ‘analyst’ which do not contain the word ‘negotiator’, enter ‘analyst’ in the all of the words field and ‘negotiator’ in the without the words field.

Additional select options

You can additionally select from a series of drop-down menu items to further refine your search:

Job location
Select a specific location, or select All locations if you wish to search on all locations.

Sector
Select a specific industry sector, or select All sectors if you wish to search on all available sectors.

Salary range
Select a specific salary bracket, or select All to search across all salary bands.

Perm/temp/contract
Select from permanent, temporary or contract positions, or select All to search across all types of position.

Date posted
Select from jobs posted in the Previous 24 hours, the last week, the last month or jobs posted on All dates.

Search by company

Click on the Jobs by company link from the Jobs menu if you wish to browse all jobs from a specific company or recruitment consultant.

You will see a listing of all the companies who advertise job vacancies on the website.

Click on the View jobs link to the right of the entry for the company that you are interested in. You will be presented with a listing of that company’s current job vacancies in date order, with the most recent jobs at the top of the listing.

Saved searches

Registered users of this website can save up to five favourite searches which can be accessed at any time from the Advanced Search page.

Click on the Advanced search link in the Jobs menu.

On the Advanced Search page link enter your search terms and choose any other search options from the select lists provided.

Finally, click on the Save this Search link at the foot of the page.

You can also save searches from the Search Results page. This allows you to check the relevance of the search results before deciding to save the search.

Because you can save a maximum of five searches, saving a sixth search will overwrite the earliest of your previously-saved searches.

Username and Password

On first registration, we will use your email address as your user name and we will assign you a password which will be emailed to the email address you have registered.

All registered users will receive an email verifying their username and password

Once you have logged in for the first time, you will be able to change your password at any time by clicking on the My profile link and updating your password.

If you have forgotten your password, you can simply request this to be emailed to the email address we hold for you.

Click on the Forgotten Password? link in the Register / Log-in panel and complete your email details. Your password will then be emailed to you.
