The Team
The Franchise Performance team was set up in March 2003 and its influence over the last five years has been an important contributor to the recent strong performance of the Lloyd's marketplace during this period. The reputation of the department has been further enhanced by its successful response to the challenging conditions faced in 2005.
The team is responsible for continuing to drive forward long term strategic change by working in partnership with individual Lloyd's managing agents to improve the overall performance of the market. The team monitors performance against individual agent's business plans with the aim of maintaining short and long term profitability as well as working to ensure that Lloyd's underwriting and claims standards are raised.
The team is there to challenge and change "cultural" approaches to underwriting and claims while maintaining the commercial acumen and entrepreneurial spirit that the market is renowned for worldwide.
Each position will be career enhancing as the role holder will get a strategic view of the wider market and a "head office" experience.
